Wow, it's been a while, hasn't it?
Nothing much is really going on in my life. I've been in China for about eleven...twelve days visiting my parents, and I'm here for the next three. Then I'm heading back to Guam where my face can go back to being oily and where I won't have to worry about my lip being split like it is now.
Up to date, all of my deviations have been mediocre at best. I've taken to snapping shots of random things for lack of any sketch inspiration.
I'm picking up embroidery. That's something.
I'm also in the process of crocheting a scarf for my sister on her birthday, which is more than two months overdue.
For the past two years, my desire for a white Christmas has been fruitless. Last year, the snow came after I left, and this year, the snow came before I arrived...and promptly melted.
Time with the parents wasn't very well-spent either. Not that I'm complaining... They spend their mornings and afternoons working, and on the weekends, they devote their time to religious activities. I'm left to my own devices, which is perfectly fine. I go shopping with my mom though because it's a luxury she rarely indulges in while living with my dad.
I suppose dad feels like he needs to make up for the time he hasn't spent with me; so he's taking me sightseeing tomorrow and shopping for little trinkets to bring back home.
I don't think I can live in Beijing. I mean, it must be really nice to have four full seasons, but my physiology isn't designed to withstand extremely dry weather. From the looks of it, Beijing is well on its way to becomng a desert. The air is extremely dirty as well, an urban trait that I'm not accustomed to and probably will never tolerate. They don't sell fabric softener dryer sheets or peanut butter here. Their yogurt is aged milk, and their cheese is aged yogurt...or at least, that's what it tastes like. Also, there's no such thing as discount here. When you finish purchasing your goods, you are prompted to buy even more goods. Lastly! They don't carry my body wash. > <
In the meantime, I'm sick; so when I get back to Guam, all you people are doooooooooooomed!! XD

Hey, you're on Guam? Small world: My grandparents lived there for 30 years, and i spent time there when i visited them. I kinda miss it: My grandparents moved stateside a few years ago, but I'd like to go back someday.

I wish my lawn was emo. Then it would cut itself.
Putting all of the pieces together, I've just figured out that your grandparents lived only two houses away from me up in Dededo before they moved. (Really small world...) I would occasionally visit your grandfather and hang out with the dogs.
Anyway, if you ever get the chance to visit Guam again, look me up. It'd be great to meet you! ^___^
